GE 1111 Troubleshooting VOIP Telephony

The Technician will learn how to efficiently troubleshoot VoIP telephones while also identifying the processes and procedures involving their support.

CAMPUS TESTING SUPPORT

GE 1201 Beginning-to-End Testing Setup and Support - New Technicians Only

This course is for new Technicians only. The Technician will identify the processes preceding, during, and proceeding campus network examinations. This course will cover the expectations of the technician during state testing, including proper communication, preparation, attendance, and documentation.

GE 1261 State Testing Processes and Procedures for Technicians - Oath Signing

Participants will review current standards and requirements for technicians with regard to preparation for State Testing and sign the associated oath. This course is required in order to assist with State Testing, such as TELPAS and STAAR.

GE 1441 Repairing Printers, Scanners, and Fax Machines

The Technician will learn about the physical components of printers, fax machines, and scanners and the steps to repair them when the need arises. Knowledge of the warranty process will be shared along with an explanation of consumable items.

GE 1442 Printer Logic & Network Printers (Level 1)

The Technician will learn to configure network printer settings and manage their fleet of network printers within the Printer Logic framework. In addition, troubleshooting steps will be outlined to help address common printing problems.

The Technician will learn to identify Food Service equipment, troubleshoot common issues, image the Point of Sales machine, and follow the correct processes and procedures concerning the Food Service department.

GE 1456 Supporting the Lightspeed Sound System

This training module provides information on troubleshooting the Lightspeed Technologies “Access” system line of products. This module provides knowledge on system components, nomenclature, terminology and basis of design. The seven most common troubleshooting categories are covered with details provided on specific action steps that should be taken to determine the cause of a problem and resolution. The Lightspeed warranty exchange program process is also covered and includes information such as what data should be obtained prior to contacting Lightspeed for warranty replacement equipment.​

GE 1501 CFISD Compliance Course (2018-19)

CFISD employees must complete the compliance course at the beginning of every year. It contains ten modules that must be completed. Please complete it at your earliest convenience.
